All of the sounds on this release are recorded directly from piezo discs that are being ill-treated in some way. These little gold discs pick up directly transmitted sound from anything they come in contact with. The sounds they create are detailed and textural. I have burnt, nailed, bent and smashed contact mics, to explore the sounds within their very fabric. This results are often both brutal and intimate.
